When an action happens involuntarily, unexpectedly, or in a surge of emotion, Kyrgyz adds the auxiliary verb жиберүү (to send, to dispatch) to it.
It's like English "just blurted it out", "it slipped out", "burst out laughing", "fired off".
🧠 The Logic
Жиберүү in the dictionary means "to send", "to dispatch", "to release":
- кат жиберүү — to send a letter
- жаңылыктарды жиберүү — to send the news
When it attaches to another verb through a gerund, it adds a nuance of spontaneity — the action kind of "fired" on its own, flew out.
🧮 The Formula
Pattern: Stem + -ып-ип-уп-үп-п + жибер + personal ending

⚠️ Important Notes
1. ЖИБЕР vs САЛ vs КАЛ
Three similar constructions, but different nuances:
| Construction | Nuance | Example |
|---|---|---|
| -ып сал | Decisively, abruptly | Айтып салды — said it sharply, definitively |
| -ып жибер | Spontaneously, involuntarily | Айтып жиберди — it slipped out |
| -ып кал | Accidentally, unintentionally | Айтып калды — accidentally let it slip |
💡 Rule: -ып сал — you're in control, but you act abruptly. -ып жибер — you were kind of swept away. -ып кал — it happened by accident, no intent at all.
2. Often used with emotions
- Жини чыгып, кыйкырып жиберди. — He got angry and shouted (it burst out of him).
- Кубанычынан секирип жиберди. — He jumped for joy.
