Completely: -ып ташта

When an action is done completely, definitively, or with a sense of "got rid of it", Kyrgyz uses the auxiliary verb таштоо (to throw, to discard).

It's like English "gobbled it all up", "forgot completely", "threw out for good".

🧠 The Logic

Таштоо in the dictionary means "to throw", "to discard":

таш таштоо — to throw a stone
үйдү таштоо — to abandon a house

When it attaches to another verb through a gerund, it adds a nuance of finality and often getting rid of something — the action is done all the way, nothing left.

🧮 The Formula

Pattern: Stem + -ып-ип-уп-үп-п + ташта + personal ending

The gerund suffix — by vowel harmony:

after a consonant: -ып-ип-уп-үп
after a vowel: -п

⚠️ Important Notes

1. ТАШТА vs САЛ vs ЖИБЕР

💡 -ып ташта often implies that the result is irreversible — the object is "gone for good".

2. Negative or neutral tone

This construction is often used when the result is somewhat negative or indifferent:

Баарын жеп таштады. — Ate it all up (didn't leave anything for anyone).
Убакытты текке кетирип таштадым. — Wasted the time completely.

3. In the imperative — categorical

Муну ыргытып ташта! — Throw this out! (and forget it)
Өчүрүп ташта! — Delete it for good!
